    Cyclamen from above. Canon EOS-1Ds, Super-Takumar 85mm f1.9 with EOS->42mm screw adapter.
    Not too bad for a camera which is 16 or 17 years old and an old screw mount lens made sometime between 1964 and 1971. C0EW2598.JPG

    Ray, as you know my 1D is not quite as old but I have similar lenses, I also find the combination produces some very nice images.
    A Takumar 85 F1.9, that is one that I do not have and I am a bit jealous.

    Hi Craig, Yes, that Super-Tak 85mm is a nice piece of kit.
    One of my friends had two of them and he kindly sold one to me and I bought it as a present to myself for my 60th birthday.
    I like being able to use it on the1Ds at its nominated focal length rather than on an APS-C camera.

    One of the many advantages of full frame camera, I have a new toy and accessories.
    A Mamiya 645 pro TL and 3 lenses and a 2 times extender. The camera uses 60 by 45 mm, 120 film.

    Oh, what a great new toy you have, Craig. You will get lots of joy playing with that kit.
    645 is a very nice format and I'll bet that the negs will be easy to work with in the enlarger.
    If we were back in the film days I would be very jealous. Enjoy your new toys.

    Thanks Ray, I have a 75mm lens for my enlarger, for the 120 format.
    It should do quite nicely for landscape images, blown up to large sizes.
    The construction of my darkroom is slow progress, it is like chiseling away at concrete the dirt is so hard but my son and grandson arrived for Christmas so a bit more help and effort should see thing progress at a more rapid pace.

    I was hoping that you had a 75mm lens for the projector. Good to hear that you do.
    I will be looking forward to seeing your results when the DR is completed with a little bit of help from family. :D
