That is another fine image, Tony. Sharp and colourful. The plant is a bromeliad. There are many varieties and you can read more about them here: https://www.gardenclinic.com.au/how-to-grow-article/bromeliads .
I had some in my garden but they did not survive our hot and dry summer.
