Sharing mostly due to the oddity, a rose with two "heads". Never had one in my garden before... Well, never had a garden until the fall last year :)

Thank you both... these roses are very pretty and survived replantation of the plant (when we got the house, we took out much of the flora around the backyard... wife wanted it open canvas. The rose bush [quite small] was sentenced to perish, but my father tucked it on the side where it doesn't bother much. I thought the bush was not going to survive being excavated and replanted in late November weather (east Coast USA... so much for that )

I am glad that it survived being replanted and that you showed us the result. That is a very special flower and you have presented it well. Very nice, Ed.

My ex-wife had a rose similar but with a normal single head, a lovely looking plant but I had a problem with Blackbirds and Starlings eating a nearby blackberry bush and depositing the seeds in there droppings in my backyard, sprouting more blackberrys, to combat this I was given a goat, a big brown spaded male.
Unfortunately the rose did not survive his gardening efforts.
I did take a picture of him devouring it.

I lost that and a heap of other photos when the hard drive in my computer died, I learned from that and now have a second copy of all the images I wish to keep on a second external hard drive and those of any importance I make hard copies in the form of a photograph.
