    Thank you for your kind comments Craig - very much appreciated. Here's the exif for both shots. I must say, the 7Dii seems to have a slight edge over the 7D but both great cameras for this type of shooting and BIF as well. I use the 18-400 most times now and the sharpness throughout the whole zoom range is very impressive.

    Those are superb bird images, Isac. You have captured great expressions on both birds. Good exposures and very sharp.

    Thanks for the kind words Ray - much appreciated. Being close to the lake opens up plenty of opportunities to get bird shots.
