Thank you for your kind comments Craig - very much appreciated. Here's the exif for both shots. I must say, the 7Dii seems to have a slight edge over the 7D but both great cameras for this type of shooting and BIF as well. I use the 18-400 most times now and the sharpness throughout the whole zoom range is very impressive. #1 - Galah: Canon EOS 7D Mark II | 1/1250 sec | f/6.3 | ISO 1250 | 339 mm | Manual | Spot | Lens: TAMRON 18-400mm F/3.5-6.3 #2 - Cockatoo: Canon EOS 7D | 1/100 sec | f/5 | ISO 1600 | 60 mm | Aperture priority | Spot | Lens: TAMRON 16-300mm F/3.5-6.3
Those are superb bird images, Isac. You have captured great expressions on both birds. Good exposures and very sharp.
Thanks for the kind words Ray - much appreciated. Being close to the lake opens up plenty of opportunities to get bird shots.
