Hi all, I just dropped in to ask a quick question (in a different area of the forum). Thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm Greg, my interest has been growing for years now with regards to photography. I mainly shoot nature and objects but would love to delve deeper into portrait and street photography. I've been using Canon since I upgraded from my Fuji XS-1 bridge camera in 2018 and am glad i made the switch to the 80D. I'm based in the UK but the wife and I love to travel, so when we do it goes without saying that my camera comes with us.

    I guess I'll see y'all around here.

    G.

Hello and welcome Gregory! The 80d is a real solid camera and hope you enjoy it.
I think the M series you are asking about may be a good fit for street photography as well as the underwater situation.

Hi Johnsey, Thanks for your reply and warm welcome. I certainly do enjoy both of my current cameras. The 80D is my main camera and I usually use ef/ef-s lenses on the M50 with an adaptor, however I do have the 15-45 EF-M kit lens.

    Cheers G.

I know nothing about portrait or street photography. But I know how to say hello and welcome to the forum.
