I can probably help you out with this. But my trigger is at home and I'm not. I've got the week off but once I get back I'll have a look for you.

Drop me a pm if I forget to reply.

    Have a look at https://www.miops.com/

I have not used it on my Canon gear, only my Pentax stuff.

yeah i had been looking at the miops, i know karl taylor uses that one a lot,
quick question what other name is the Canon M50 known as in other countries from the UK, i didn't see the M50 on miops website.
i think its predecessor in the usa was a rebel t or something and i did see a mention that it might be a kiss m in japan.
so if anyone has any non uk names for the M50...........( leave it! its a good camera! )
    Thanks
    Laura

A couple of things. Yes it looks as if the camera is called the eos kiss m in Japan. Is there a contact us on the miops website where you can drop them an email and ask them?

And happy birthday from someone who has his birthday within a handful of days of Christmas as well.

Let us know how you get on.

    got this back from miops"
"Canon EOS M50 does not have a shutter release port so it is not possible to trigger it externally with our device."
i have been using the canon remote for remote shutter so i guess it needs a soild port connection

Not really what we want to hear.

What other options do you have?
