Well my order was placed 28 July with Park and original quoted 2-3 weeks delivery, now being told end of September. Have to say that is very disappointing.
I understand your disappointment. Sounds as if Canon can't make them fast enough to keep up with the demand. Gary
I don't believe there has been a silent recall , a recall for what exactly , I think the latest firmware proves there wasn't a recall on them
I just think that Canon can't keep up with demand. I see that our local camera shop has run out of them and they are awaiting the next delivery. It looks as if the R to EF adapter is in short supply as well looking at other forums. It not a bad thing as it shows that the camera is in big demand. Gary
Ordered 31st July, and cannot get any indication from supplier as to likely dispatch date. Really pathetic from Canon; all we want is to be kept informed, and told a truthful, realistic delivery date. Not too much to expect when shelling out over £4k !!
Ordered mine 10th July told end July with wex September 8th still no camera no date of delivery from them, not good enough from canon
I ordered 28th July. 2 days ago Wex said they could not guarantee delivery for an event I have planned next March (not kidding). Canon didn't want to know. Wex wouldn't tell me where I was on the list. Neither Canon nor Wex would disclose how many units are being delivered monthly. Given they could not guarantee delivery 9 months after placing an order, I have cancelled AND made a complaint to Advertising Standards, as Canon are advertising a product they are unwilling or unable to supply within a reasonable time. Given the brand loyalty and cash I've spent on Canon products over the years, I find their couldn't care less attitude poor. Wex aren't much better. I'll make do with my existing Canon products.
