If members want me to tag the location of my images, let me know and I will add them as I work my way through my images. Not a problem for me. Gary
This maybe of interest to some. Franz Joseph glacier. I was unable to get any closer as at this point in time, the walking track has been washed out from flood waters. Near https://what3words.com/stay.passport.bodes RP, 70-200 F4 L IS Gary
No worries about having a go at this image. I was hoping for a nice pinkish sunset image of the glacier, but the weather didn't play ball. So I ended up with this flat midday image. Also against me was that the walking path to the glacier has been washed out, so you can't get near it at the moment. This is pretty well as good as it is going to get for the time being. Tomorrow I'll post the Fox glacier image. You can see it through the murk, but the road got washed out. So again, you can't get near it. This part of the world can get some big rain dumps. Gary
I did think about going down the blocked road, but they had barriers up, it was raining, it was cold, and the sandflies love me. So I was a bit of a wuss. Gary
The following day, we saw Fox Glacier through the murk. A three image pano. Another image where it is a yes/no to post. https://what3words.com/trail.hoist.vaulting RP Gary
And now we move to birds. I am going to post a few of a native bird called a Tui. RP, 400 F5.6 L Gary
I am sure that they are. There were three or four of them feeding on nectar. I have tried this sort of image before, and I am pretty sure that I can improve on this. Gary
Thanks for the comments. Sadly this little series of images is done. I need to go on holiday again to grab some more. If I could only have those winning lottery numbers, I would have both the time and money. Work does get in the way. When I am out and about, I will add more to this thread. Gary
