No worries. I am pleased that you had a look at the opinions. Sorry that I couldn't help you out with your camera hunting. Good luck.

go to the post and click edit and then delete the second one, as a person who stuffs this up all the time, I know this will work as I have had to do it many times.

Thanks Craig, but I don't think I did it quite right. I'll leave it alone before I do more damage than I want.

with regards to the M50 things i think you might need to take a careful look at are evf lag and raw buffer,
personally i'm happy to shoot jpeg so i don't need to worry about raw buffer, i mention it as it you might want to test it out on high frame rate incase its a problem,
the evf as with other mirrorless cameras can have lag but i have captured in flight no problem and not had a problem with evf lag.
that being said there might be an M50 ii in the pipeline, something else to consider.

was taken when i was out on a casual park walk with kit lens a while back, with more thought and higher quality glass the M50 can capture those moments in flight,

    Nice images Caladina.
I prefer the pigeons shot as you have timed the bird landing beautifully and the bird is very sharp, excellent shot.

yes, i also had to time the moment the magpie opened its beak :) but i included those to show the M50 with higher price glass, not that the 55-200 kit is bad, in fact its pretty good.

Update on my decision to upgrade my aps-c and full-frame bodies, first I want to thank everyone for their participation and suggestions. I pulled the trigger on the 5Ds and 90D. The 5Ds has shipped, I should receive it on Friday, the 23rd, however the 90D is on back order and will ship as soon as they become available. I am now on pins and needles!

Porkphoto, there is nothing like the anticipation of waiting for a new bit of kit to arrive, the moment of opening the packaging, pulling it out, assembling it. feeling the weight and then going outside and finding nothing worth shooting. I hope you enjoy your new camera.
PS. the lady of the house is always a nice starting shot.

Nice to hear that you have brought some new gear. I must admit that I have eyed up used 5Ds's in the past, but it never happened. Let us know how you get on with it.

Great stuff, getting to play with new things is always fun,
even if it is a new kitten fall backwards off of the table, turning itself into a 20 bladed grappling hook as it falls, yep i has the scars to prove it!
