Back to Real Fillum Folks -- I went with w couple of Mates from Brentwood & District Photographic Club to Bedford's Park. London Borough of Havering to see what was happening for the annual 'Deer Rut' -- we met some members of out Great Rivals -- UPMINSTER Camera Club ! Well -- NOT MUCH Happening as the STAG had NO Competition in the enclosure -- all the Ladies to himself ! I had an AE-1 + 300mm f2.8 TOKINA AT-X lens which I had not used for a long time since I bought it ( Tax Deductible !! ) for Sport Pics for Local Press . I used a Monopod. FILM was 2014 dated Kodak Ultramax 400 rated down a bit to 250 ASA and I home-processed in C41. The LAKE was a bit BORING -- dreadful Light as the Upminster CC members were right but I took a couple of snaps with the Canon FD 70-150mm zoom Bedford's Park - The 'RUT' 01 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr Bedford's Pak -- The 'RUT' 02 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr Bedford's Park - The 'RUT' 03 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr Bedford's Park -- The 'RUT' 04 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr Bedford's Park- The Lake 02 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr
Peter, of all the shots, I do like the first of the doe's head. It is clear and shows the facial features off quite nicely.
Actually I did start with film before I got into DSLR. I have a posted a couple of albums here. https://www.canonforums.com/media/albums/grand-staircase-escalante-national-monument-utah-usa.222/ https://www.canonforums.com/media/albums/death-valley-national-park-ca-usa.219/
Sundar -- had a look -- very good Landscapes worthy of winning the Landscape Trophy at Brentwood & District Photographic Club !
Thanks. They were shot some years ago with a Pentax camera. Gave up film when they became scarce and processing became hard (depended on labs). Faced these issues in San Francisco bay area. I still have some unused Kodak Ektar 100 film rolls I am planning to use in the future.
