   Powershot A490

   I have an older A490 Powershot. When I switch it off, the lens is not fully retracting. Is this an issue which can be addressed?
   
   I've tried changing batteries several times.

   Lens is probably jarred off its gear, some light pressure could fix it. I found an article describing someone who did that. Not much else you can do with a camera like this since the repair cost to send it in would buy you a new camera.
