Hi Ed, I have a 20D which is two models later then your D60 and it made the huge leap up to 8.2MP. I enjoy using as it still produces good images. I did notice the likeness to our famous bridge in that second image. It certainly is worth copying. It was opened in 1932 and is still serving our city well today.
Thank you Craig! No filters - all lens. Nothing added in Post (some exposure / contrast / highlights & shadows... the simple stuff) I did not know that such a thing as a starburst filter existed! Nevertheless, this is the first time I use the Sigma at night and it has produced maybe the best starbursts from any legacy lens I owe (My Sigma, while an EX, is not a DG - hence made for film era).
Ed, the starburst filter is from the film era and is a clear filter with cross hatching engraved on it and designed to create the starbursts you have in your images also use for jewelry images to get that glitter look, works well at the beach to get similar look to the tips of the waves.
