    I am quite impressed by the sharpness of that last image. That Canon EF 28-80 is better than I expected.

    Various OEM and 3rd party lenses in Pentax, Minolta and Canon.
    Lovely colours and sharp. I understand that later versions of the EF28-80mm were not as good as the earlier ones. The EF28-90mm not too good either but it's all relative to the viewer. I think my Pentax-A 35-105mm often provides better images than my Pentax-A 50mm f1.7 but I suspect I might be in a minority of one there.

    Thank you, Robert. I have no idea which version the 28-80 is but it does appear to be sharper when objects are closer rather than distant.
