The "This is your brain on drugs" building. This is actually a mental health facility, operated by the Cleveland Clinic. No, I am not kidding!

 

The architect of this building was a former patient of a similar facility?

 

Uh, I would suspect more of a hardcore user than someone in for treatment.

Perhaps scoring some from here: (Seen in small town Iowa.)

Anyway, this mental health building from Cleveland is a perfect example of ''form meets function''

 

Actually, the building is in Las Vegas. Cleveland Clinic runs the facility.

 

I would think that if a patient came out of there and looked back at the building they would think "I'm not quire cured yet. I'll have to come back for more treatment".

 

Actually, the other side, what appears to be the main entrance, on the side of the building that faces the parking lot, appears to be quite "normal" in appearance. (This is a somewhat severe crop from an image of the adjacent WMC.)

 

This makes the architect's thinking more twisted.

Wow. What a contrast. It is hard to imagine that they are both part of the same building.

 

Here's a view from the west looking southeast. The "normal" part of the building is to the left and the wonky one is to the right and center.

 

That is certainly messing with my brain!
