A test image for Tonytee to have a look at and give me his thoughts about sharpness etc on this image. Could it be improved? I am not so worried about the subject, it is more about the quality of the image. Gary
Hi Ray, Tony has been having a few problems where he is not 100% happy with the sharpness of some of the images that he has been posting. So instead of offering solutions to the problems, I pm'ed Tony, started an email exchange offering to help out and try to get to the bottom of Tony's problem. This image is actually Tony's image taken with his equipment, and emailed to me. I have done a little post processing on it, and then posted it. I am curious to what other members think of the image, and thank you for making your comment on this thread. It's a bit of a work in progress at the moment. Thanks again. Gary
I am delighted with the results of experimenting with this image. It was a great idea to adjust the camera's resolution to maximum and not make any changes in Editing and then upload it, leaving the system to make changes to the size. Essentially, this image is straight out of camera which is a wonderful testament to the quality of that Canon EOS 7D Mk II with the EF-S 18~135mm, IS, STM Lens. Thank you all very much. Tony
Hi Tony, I have done a "little" post processing on this image. I wanted to see what other members thought of this image before I let you know what I actually done to the image in Adobe Elements. I am more than happy to help you out. Gary
nicely done, I do not think it is sharpness as it is as Ray said , it looks pretty sharp, the only improvement would be in camera allowing for a deeper depth of field but that would be getting really picky, all things put aside a nice image.
