    Happy shooting!

    Again, the rules are simple:
    • Should be be using some canon gear , this is a canon forum after all.
    • Shot with the assignment in mind, go out and shoot something new don't dig up something from the archives.
    • and most importantly have fun.

We are currently in strict COVID lockdown so I am not able to go out and take new images so I will have to request some leniency as I will be forced to use images from my vault. I will however reprocess them so that they are refreshed a little.

This is my first image. It is of Spike Milligan (well know British actor and comedian https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spike_Milligan) Bridge. It is a walkway/cycleway bridge which links the suburbs of Koolewong and Woy Woy. This view is looking towards Woy Woy. Spike Milligan's parents lived in Woy Woy and he famously called it "the world's largest above ground cemetery" because of its mostly aged population.

This is my second "Bridges" image. It is in fact two bridges crossing the Hawkesbury River.
The closest bridge is the 6-lane M1 Pacific Motorway from Sydney heading northwards. Behind it you can see the 2-lane old Pacific Highway bridge which is still used to access local areas.

I have crossed that bridge many, many times. The Hawkesbury River is somewhat like Bass Strait. It is the border between the northern areas of Sydney and the Central Coast where I now live after spending most of my life in Sydney.
There is much to see up here. You are welcome any time.

This bridge(1) goes over a creek that goes along the side and then around the back of my property, the bridge is small,graffiti-ed and the verges are un-kept but is a nice little bridge as I drive over it every day, the second is the bridge(2) at the back of my property where the adjoining road goes over the same creek.

You just have to keep your eyes open and you can find bridges all over the place.

Here is one that is a little different and that I found in the Japanese Garden within the Auburn Botanic Gardens in the western suburbs of Sydney.

No, I did not change the colour of the water. That is exactly how it was.

Thank you, Caladina. I have never seen a bridge like that before and I took quite a few images of it that day.

Thanks, Craig. Yes, it is tidier than yours but you have given me an idea for a new image. :D

That's alright Ray, and if this stimulates you to think of something new, then the comp this month is doing it's job.

And this bridge is just a short walk from my house.
This bridge is the way to get to the western side of our village.

    From the east looking west.

I am glad you like it, Caladina, for some it will be difficult due to the virus but I am just getting started.

Here is another one that I really like. This is the bridge between The Entrance and The Entrance North over The Entrance Channel.
    That is quite a mouthful!
It is an HDR image combining three bracketed images to retain detail in the sky and also in the area under the bridge.
