I have a very simple request, please help.
For many years my remote for my 350D has been in a draw unused. The manual is lost.
I just need to know which is the off position for the switch. Wherever l leave it the batteries discharge in a couple of days.
    Advice gratefully received.

The switch is to be used for immediate vs 2 sec delay options, see the canon site link below on newer triggers. These remotes are suppose to not use battery when your not actively using them. Much like the remote for your TV. You can try taking the battery out when not in use if its draining it dead or get a different remote I guess.

    Hi johnsey, thanks for that.
I had been removing the batteries as you suggest but as you'll realise it's not so convenient. Guess this one is faulty and I need to get a new device.
    Thanks again.
