There's one street in our neighbourhood that has all reidents displaying Christmas lights and here's a few shots. There are other streets but this is by far a very illuminating experience.

Thanks Craig. Synergy our WA power supply company offer up $6,500 in prizes for the best peoples chioce award and the winner gets $2,500 for their efforts. HERE's THE WINNER.
I was quite surprised by the exif data in the winning images. With a fast shutter and high ISO you miss getting all the lights as they fade in and out with the different colours. I wouldn't mind the camera but out of my budget.

The exif data in one of the winning photos is:
    Canon EOS R5 | RF15-35mm F2.8 L IS USM | 1/60 sec | f/2.8 |ISO 3200 |Manual | Evaluative Metering |15 mm

I reckon my settings captured a lot more detail. I set my WB to Tungsten because a lot of the lights are tungsten based. I think these settings help to give a better look to the sky in "The Blue Hour".
    Canon EOS 7D Mark II | TAMRON 18-400mm | 2 sec | f/6.3 | ISO 100 | Manual | Evaluative Metering |18 mm
What do you reckon or what would you use for your settings?
