Thanks Craig. I did put a little thought and planning into this one. I am not unhappy with it, but I think it is a good starting point to progress from. Thanks Ray. I thought it came out well all things considered. Gary
Very nice indeed. Fabulous conversion. With all the subdued BG layered tones, the tree root really pops!
Many thanks to Gary (GDN) for allowing me to convert his Chevy (from his album) to a BW. Photoshop, using various filters, layers and masks. ORIGINAL: B&W CONVERSION:
No problem, but it is not my Chevy. You have skills that are way past anything that I am capable of. Nice end result as well. Gary
Cheers Gary, I've been at it for many years. Photoshop since 1992! If you want a look at the PSD file, let me know.
It is always good to see your images Sundar, my favorite is the first one of the series, the difference in the Sky, mid ground texture and foreground certainly catches the eye.
Excellent series Sundar. I love your BW interpretations. What's your workflow from camera to forum. Don't leave anything out!!
This is a conversion I did using the BW sliders and luminosity masks. The building is the Sebel Hotel which has adjoining accomodation, so both of these buildings are part of the same property complex.
Surprised to see you here mate. You made a comment on one of these images not too long ago in another forum. Not too good with photoshop (not your caliber for sure) but I will list what I do when I get time.
