Sunset, b&w version. Flat sky replaced with another from the same location.

 

I like the way you have done this image, Greg. The three distinct zones in portrait mode. Something a bit different that works very well.

 

Another very nice image Sundar, I like the way it goes from shadow in the foreground to various shades to highlights in the skyline

Love the tone graduation from dark to light emphasising the various layers. Different for a sunset image.

 

Thanks Isac. Wonder how the folks in b&w era were presenting the sunset (or sunrise). I was drawn more to the layers here than the colors. Not seen any sunset images in b&w.

Excellent images, Greg, mostly I like the second, in black and white it has a certain dark and foreboding look about it.

 

Cheers Craig. The BW certainly do change the ambience of the original colour versions. It seems to have a better effect with water images.

They are great shots. I tend to lean more towards the color version but the b&w has its own beauty.
