I have been trying out some new Film Developer Formulae - I had to order a few new chemicals but i already had most in my Chemical Cupboard . I had to go to Basildon Hospital to see Plastic Surgeon about the Skin Cancer on my Scalp so my 'Driver' a Camera Club Mate and I decided to go to Hannifield Reservoir . I took my TWO FTBn Bodies -- one with October 2010 dated FP4 + and one with outdated ( no actual Date) Fuji REALA 100 - I rated the FP4 + at 100 ASA and the Reala at 50 ASA - I developed the FP4 + in home-made FX-55 Formula but used double the amount of 1% PHENIDONE as previous Tests showed UNDER-Development an d I STILL got UNDER- Developed NEGS !! OK for 'Scanning' but not enough 'Meat' on them for darkroom Printing! I used a 200mm f4 SSC Canon FD for the boats and small tripod and still struggled with poor light ! TODAY I went out into BRENTWOOD HIGH STREET and took a few more 'TESTS' I used my 50mm f1.4 SSC Canon FD lens
