    canon M50 + sigma 100-400mm, this is one of the reasons i shoot jpeg on the M50 vs raw, getting the flash as it first appears in the barrel needs a fast buffer

    So hang on. How come you were not allowed to have a play with the artillery pieces?

    lots of big boys with swords and machine guns, i thought maybe not play with their cannon today :D
    as for well timed, this was a case when fast burst pays off, there is a video on youtube of someone recording the event, i was standing right next to them and you can hear my camera machine gunning away lol, its the first time i had been to a cannon firing so i was a bit trigger happy but i got the shots i intended to get.
    i think i was around 10 shots in before the actual firing of the cannon, but its the way it worked, trying that on the M50 in raw i would have been down to 1 frame a second when the shot was fired
