Unusual sight at dawn

Shot from my terrace. Speculations were that this can be from a rocket launch, space junk or meteor entering the atmosphere. Later confirmed that this was from a rocket launch.

Seriously though, do you have any idea what it could be? Rather a unique photo.

 

It was from a rocket launch about 300 km away. I did see a streak of white blob flying south in the eastern sky but it was gone before I could get the camera.

Never heard of rocket lift off trails sighted at this location. This is my first ever. This Instagram news from another location was my confirmation of the event. There was no local media report on this.
