This months photo topic is "Food" -- Trying something a bit different this month, food introduces some fun challenges on prepping and lighting the subject.

    Happy shooting!
    Again, the rules are simple:
    • Should be be using some canon gear , this is a canon forum after all.
    • Shot with the assignment in mind, go out and shoot something new don't dig up something from the archives.
    • and most importantly have fun.

Last Thursday I set out to take this month's photographs. I took out the tripod and took it to the kitchen, I saw the string of garlic that only one clove remained, I already had the first subject, I shoot twice, and I went to look for an object to vary the composition. When I was moving, the tripod failed and the camera, my traveling companion since 2006, fell to the ground, it was impossible to shoot again, “err.99” came out. Here I send you the penultimate photo of the Canon 350D.

Bad luck on the camera, José. The image is interesting.
The 350D is a nice camera to use, I have 2 of them for use in my class. The students get some very nice images from them using the kit lens they come with.

On Saturday I went to a photo shop in Barcelona, I had the idea of buying a 7 Mark II D, second hand, but he showed me a new 2000D for €350, which saved me almost half. I opted for the new one and this is a photograph, with the new camera, that fits the theme.

Apparently there are places that you can go to get this problem sorted out.

Good luck and I hope you get well soon.

Thanks, Gary. I is like a dose of the flu and I am stuck at home for 7 days, the last 3 days should see me well enough to do more digging under the house.
