    Hi,

I am new here. I have a Canon Powershot SD880 IS probably made around 2008. It still works great but I can not transfer the pics directly from the camera (SD card installed) to my Mac with the wire provided. I do not have the disk to download the driver and even if I did, this mac does not use DVDs or CDs. Can anyone recommend how to download the driver? I have tried the Canon website and it state that this camera is obsolete and no longer in production.

Thank you in advance for your help...much appreciated.

I don't think any credible link to download, those drivers were from very old windows and mac OS versions and would not be supported anymore Canon removed them long ago. If you google the driver, you'll find links but non look trustworthy, there are sketchy sites that prey on ppl trying to download stuff that is not easy to find on company websites.

I do have a good suggestion, why not get a card reader and try copying it to your desktop from the sd card directly.
