    A lovely bloom Tony but the thick black line around some of the petal tips looks a bit odd, are they really like that or is it a processing artefact? It's a striking image nontheless.

    Keith, I believe that is the way they are. The only post processing I did on this image was a bit of contrast to help eliminate some haze due to a day with some very harsh sunlight. Thanks very much for your kinds words, sir. :)

    Thanks Tony, I love these flowers and have photographed hundreds so I thought I'd check as I've never seen one like that, I'll have to pay more attention in future.
