I’m new to the forum. Been out of using my 1D Mk2 for a while. But wanting to get back into photography and looking to get a 5D mk2 or mk3, it is lighter than my 1D mk2. The UI is easier to use and the 5D mk2 and up can do video as well. My dad was a broadcast videographer and taught me a bit, but he didn’t do much digital still photography, that was pretty new when he retired. He did tons of video and film stills. Having met 5 presidents and traveled the world for work he has seen a lot and has 3 Emmys and inducted into the Emmy Silver Circle in 2005. He passed in 2021, and is very missed. Sadly my local camera store closed after 108 years this spring. Thanks!
