I Can't Believe IT as Meldrew would say -- I've got a Canon DIGITAL SLR now ! -- 2008 EOS 1000D given by a Great Camera Club / FLICKR Mate bought at a Car Boot sale -- he SOLD the lens it came with BUT I can use all my CANON EOS Film camera lenses with it ! I have found out how to set everything == all quite easy for a 'Digital BEGINNER' like me ! I found the top flash sync speed is 1/200th sec which is good. I shot RAW on a trip to KENTWELL HALL Suffolk with my 2 Camera Clyb /FLICKR Mates yesterday and got some quite goods snaps to show you -- mostly use a Canon EF 28-105mm f4-5.6 but on one of The 1914 -18 ARMY used a TOKINA 20-35mm zoom and I used fill-in flash as well sometimes.

Congratulations on your new camera. A lot cheaper to run than film :)
Lovely set of images. Very sharp and good colours. My favourites are: The 3 Ladies, The gent with the old cameras and the wonderful lady holding a cuppa at the table. (2, 6 and 9)
