This months photo challenge is "Blue Hour /Golden Hour/Magic hour".
Pulled this from the archives (sunrise/sunset 3 years back this fall). I like Spring and Fall for this, since globally the day isn't terribly long or short for most people. Just a fun assignment where you use the magic of natural light in your photographs.

    Happy shooting!

    Again, the rules are simple:
    • Should be be using some canon gear , this is a canon forum after all.
    • Shot with the assignment in mind, go out and shoot something new don't dig up something from the archives.
    • and most importantly have fun.

RFA Proteus paid London a visit for some works last week, here is one from early in the morning, pretty poor lighting as it was shooting towards the sun rise which was pretty featureless so i went for exposure on the ship, tinted the sky with a weak pale blue to stop its over exposure being so harshly white,

i have a lot more images of the ship in the morning before a sunrise and after, some when she was leaving under tugs through an open Tower Bridge

    My 'Magic Hour' .....
    Nostell Pork Pie.jpg
... sat wearing just a T-shirt and shorts on Wednesday afternnon the 18th October at Nostell Priory and enjoying a pork-pie lunch.

Contrast this with my 'Blue Hour' two days later on the 20th October ....
    Front garden.jpg
... and my front garden - the result of storm Babet.

However, this is nothing compared to what other poor souls in the UK are having to endure.

I know how you feel Gary, for the last few months we have been getting some really crappy weather over here in Tassy, after all it is spring.

A small section of a badly damaged web for another 'Blue Hour' image. The dark markings in the droplets are the refracted images of neighbouring houses.

After 14+ hours of no internet before bedtime yesterday (thanks Sky) I am back on line so here is another image for the 'Golden Hour'.
During my evening walk yesterday for a few brief moments before finally setting the sun broke through the clouds and lit up this tree and it's bountiful display of berries.

Unfortunately my camera phone doesn't really do it justice.:(

Ohm, the color of the light and the rhythm effect of the bars make for a very interesting photograph

Thumbnail, two well-made golden hour images; the first with the light highlighting the colors of the tree and the second creating a fantastic landscape.

Louis Vuitton opened a store in Torredembarra with extensive business hours, even during the blue hour, and natural air conditioning. _MG_2453-SAh.jpg.JPG
