The BG-E21 battery grip does not work. I've tried two different battery grips, it has to be the camera. Do anyone know of a fix?

What is the condition of the pins on the grips? were they used grips at a camera store you were testing? I assume you loaded the same batteries that you use in the camera to ensure it wasn't the battery itself causing the grip not to work.

The grips were all new, and all the pins seem to be in good condition. The camera was purchased use. I have check the camera and the contact where the pins touch and can see nothing out of the ordinary. My last resort will be to have the camera checked.

yeah i simply wanted to make sure its canon branded one and condition, these came out in 2017 and even new ones are likely just back stock on the shelf.
