And it is getting near that time of the year again. The change of colour of the tree leaves. Here comes autumn. Canon RP, 70-200 L IS Gary
And one more from a few more km's down the road. And yes Craig, behind me from this viewpoint is a bigger lake, and there was a fly fisherman. I didn't see him catch anything though. Gary
Gary, flyfishing is not just chucking a fly in the water and hoping to catch a fish, it involves reading the water, watching the insect life and hunting your fish and above all enjoying the area you are in. Now if we put the same thoughts and feeling into photography with the end result a image showing appreciation for the area we are in. In someways they are both similar.
This is why I am rubbish at fly fishing. But we were out looking for images when the seasons change to winter. This was a new for us place for to visit. We have been to the other end of this lake. There are some images I would like to go for once we start getting some snow dumps. So not a wasted trip. Gary
Thank you for your comments. Watch this space, in the next few months we should be out and about and there is always the chance of taking a few more pictures if the scene is right. Gary
And there are going to be a couple of stray images. The first is one of the mountains at Tongariro National Park, that is in the North Island. Canon RP, Sigma 40mm Gary
And back to the west coast. An evening shot looking west. I would be curious to revisit this location at sunrise. Canon RP, 70-200 f4 L. Gary
