90D video time limit

    70D 90D 85 40 100
    The 90D has a video time limit of 29:59, and then it stops the video. My 70D had a limit of 4GB at which point it would save the file and instantly start a new one. Is there any way to get the 90D to do something similar? I find myself using the 70D for videoing interviews as they often are much longer than 30 minutes.

    There was a cap on many cameras video which we thought originally was a technical limit to protect overheating. Its even shorter on higher frame rates. But I guess it was a politically motivated, see this thread....https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4424504

    Yes, I understand the politics of it. I just wondered it there was a way around it. The 70D works great, but I'd love to use the 90D instead.
