Canon Quality At Its Finest.

    Canon EOS Rebel T5 with Canon EF-S 18~55mm kit lens and Canon EF-S 55-250 mm 1:4~5.6 IS II
    Telephoto Lens.
    Taken with Canon EOS Rebel T5 and Canon EF-S 55~250mm IS, II Lens.

    1/60s, f/6.3, ISO 100, manual exposure mode, Focal Length 60mm, used external flash and Multi-Segment Metering. All I did in Post Photo Editing was to crop out an ugly sign and then re-sizing. This photograph is quite important to me because it is the first photograph taken with my (then new) Canon Gear. Honestly, the more I study it, I cannot imagine how even an upscale, ridiculously overpriced competitor could improve on the image without PPE.

    The only error on my part was not factoring in the reflection on Grandpa's eyeglasses. Oh well, live and learn. There is a lot of love in this photograph. Wonderful.

    I would not worry about the reflection, the photo is one of family, the shot tells a story, the reflection just adds a little depth to that story. The most important aspect is it show family members being them-selves.

    I am not sure as to what you mean. I do not have Photoshop. However, if I did, what would you recommend?

    My intent was to keep the image as natural as possible, even with the use of natural light and the flash. So I would greatly appreciate your not modifying my work, please. Thanks for the offer.

    You should be able to, create a new layer. use the spot healing brush tool. it you stuff up then delete the layer.

    There's several tools and ways to get rid of the reflection in the subject's eyeglasses that would improve on the pic but the OP doesn't want anything done to it so I have to respect his wishes.

    It was not my intention to encourage this to be done as it is a family shot but merely proposing a way to do it.
