Lens: Takumar F 70~210mm Lens Camera: Pentax k-50 Photo Location: Sherwood Forest. ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F5.6 As I mentioned in a previous post about the heatwave, many of the subjects were either dead or dying. I was fortunate to find many that were managing to survive so far. Thanks for viewing. TT View attachment 3018
Nice looking flower, might be worth trying a higher ISO and stopping down to F:8 or more as the area in focus would be larger. Getting it all in focus looks to be a bit of a job but the leaf detail in focus is great, I must try my Pentax-F 70-210, it has been some time since I used it.
You are welcome. The heatwave here in the UK and the explosion of plant sucking bugs may be the problem with my flowers in pots, most seem to be misshapen or unattractive. I have only seen one Ladybird but millions of Ants servicing the bugs.
I decided to check out the presets in the K-50 and discovered that the Focus Area was off. I did what I could to correct the situation and it seems to be working better now. I am not sure as to how it happened, however it will be a good idea to test it before leaving the house. Thanks again for your comment. Rgds, Tony
