Beautiful location, nicely captured. Did you use polarizing filter?

Thank you. No, I didn't use a pol filter. I do have one for that lens but I didn't think of using it. Maybe I should have.

Looking good. I like number three the most. I almost always have a polarizing filter with me when I do shots like this. Just helps with the reflections off of the sea.

Here is another suggestion. You may try a bit of long exposure especially where the waves are crashing on the shore like in #2.

Thanks, Gary. Yes, I like #3 also. Somebody else thought that rock in the foreground looked like a sea turtle. And so did I.
I will try to remember to use a polariser next time. My bad!

Thanks, guys, for all the suggestions. I have a Lee Big Stopper that I could use for some long exposures but it was such a bright sunny day that I did not put the tripod in the car before I left home.

We done a Darwin to Melbourne road trip via Western Australia late last year, and I took a load of coastal images, and I found that I kept the polarizing filter on to bring out the colour's in the ocean and cut down glare. I took my Pentax DSLR with me, so sadly no posting of images.

    Regards

    Gary

The first thought I had when I saw your photos was did you take your fishing gear along.

No, Craig, I did not and that is because I don't have any! I get my fish from the fish counter at the supermarket.
