Amazon has an “international version” 5D Mark IV, body only, no warranty for about $2,250. Nice price, but is there anything I’d need to worry about if I bought this? The “no warranty” thing is basically the same as if I bought it used, correct? I’m not close to being able to afford it, but I’m trying to rule out options if they’re inadvisable. Thanks.

Your correct that it would essentially be the same as buying used. Honestly the only upside to grey market is the price, usually when you buy from resellers like that they are shipping them from somewhere like china.
My 2 cents: On a purchase that size I think it would make sense to save a little longer, the cost savings isn't so drastic that sending a repair to canon would still be way cheaper. Plus the camera deals on those are below 3000, and you can get them bundled with extras. If you buy a US model new with a warranty you probably wont need the warranty, but one repair on the grey market you'll wish you just saved a little longer.
