Good morning folks. I,ve recently received the above camera.I,m unable to download the pictures via EOS Utility +DPP.It appears the camera is simply not recognised! Have tried a different usb cable downloaded DPP via the Canon website.Open DPP says camera not connected.Any clues what the problem might be or will it be best to try a card reader. Many thanks in advance
Have finally managed to find the problem.Turns out that if you leave the W-E1 wifi adapter sd card in its slot the camera WILL not connect.Remove the card and hey presto all wotks as it should first time.
Good to hear you figured it out, i don't think anyone realized you had installed the WIFI adapter SD card. It makes sense that if you were using a special WIFI SD card that the software would be confused one if you wanted to use the USB connectivity.
It is often reported that Windows 10 computers do not recognize Canon DSLRs. So, if Windows 10 doesn’t recognize the Canon camera, you can perform such actions like Change your USB Cable> Use the alternative USB port> Turn off Canon Auto Power and Wi-Fi/ NFC Settings> Charge your camera battery and Check EOS Utility software version.
