    Canon d7,18-55 mm lens
    Hola,just joined this site,recently acquired a d7 body and 18-55 lens been out of the hobby for few years but decided to take it up again,got a lot to learn but looking forward to firing camera up,any tips ,advice will be appreciated. I'm in hull so plenty of scenery to shoot specially around the old town and museum's.

    Welcome to the forum. I think if you look more closely at your camera you will find that it is a 7D. :)

    Hello and welcome to the forum.

    My advice. Charge the battery, insert a memory card, and get out there and give it a go. Find a place to go that you like. Set the camera to a program that you are happy with, and enjoy yourself. See how you get on, and progress from there.

    I have one of those 7D's as well.

    Hi ,I did just that,spent an hr or so walking round town taking random shots,still got to learn the camera functions but will come in time!
