Went on a "1st Sunday" bird walk this morning and was very pleasantly surprised to see a Roseate Spoonbill hanging out with a Snowy Egret - not a normal sight in the NW Austin, TX metro area. Thanks Pork and Gary - I'm glad I *finally* remembered the 1st Sunday gig - seems like all the past 1st Sundays I'd remember around 10AM that the event started several hours earlier!
