    Hello all
I get this weird light streak on the right side of my images but not every time.
Can anyone help me figure this out? The Camera is Canon 6D with a very high shutter count.
Works fine in every other way.

Welcome John, may I suggest you try retaking the image again but use a lens hood, this would eliminate the possibility of lens flare as one of the possible causes

Just a second thought, if you do not have a lens hood, try retaking with a polarizing filter, may also help.

Do you see this light streak when you view the image on the rear LCD on the camera?

Thanks for the replies. Just to clarify , I did try different lens and different lens hood types. The streak does appear on the rear LCD .
Whatever is happening is internal to the camera.

If the streak appears on the rear LCD, my guess is that either the shutter or the sensor is on's it's way out. Does this mark appear when you switch the camera into live view?

Update , shutter, sensor and a couple of other small things replaced by Canon . $503. Crazy I know but the camera was essentially garbage. Unusable and unsalable.
A used replacement would have been about the same but who knows how long it would last. The shutter count is now at zero!
Turns out I had over 700,000 actuations on the shutter.

Nothing wrong with repairing gear. You now have a camera that should last a long now, and is sort of used and brand new all in one.
