Camera insurance

    Hi I'm new here, just wondered about camera insurance, what seems to be a good company to deal with, any idea's?

    PPA is probably the biggest one. But I have never insured my gear. Maybe some others here have experience with come companies.
    I would definitely want coverage to cover both accidental damage as well as theft if I purchased. If I was traveling regularly with my gear I could probably justify the couple hundred bucks a year but otherwise the ratio of risk to cost just is not there for me.

    i was just asking this in regards to a James Brew on youtube, Aviva is the one in uk he said is good.

    Something to bare in mind, if you are making any money from your gear even if its a few quid and you have a website etc make sure you are still covered.
    most house hold contents insurance will not cover you if they latch onto the above and claim you were using gear for a business /work.
    similar to car insurance, there is a clause that says for private use only,
