Greetings, I'm Bruce! I'm looking forward to this forum being as great for Canon users as this format has been for Pentax users!!!! I received the invite just after this forum started and thought I had already signed up, but apparently it didn't take back then and I got busy and didn't take time to verify. Anyway, it looks like I'm here now!!!!
So happy to see these forums popped up. Thank you, creators/admins/moderators (and members for all the sharing to be done)!
Hello Canon forum. My Name is Sorin, I am from Bucharest, Romania and I have used Canon in the digital era since years ago. My first one was a compact A300, first DSLR 350D...
Hai, Im new here. I have now a Canoscan 9000f mark ii, Have Some problems with scanning nagatifs..... my JPEG's are not bigger than 500 kb..... Keep trying...
Well i'm guessing from the description that you are scanning at resolution for a file size matching the size of the negative. Are you using the image garden software? That is probably treating it like any other doc or photo you would scan at size to print at same size. You may find this article helpful for setting up scanning film. https://www.sam-mallery.com/2018/02...he-canon-canoscan-9000f-mark-ii-film-scanner/ You will need to utilize the upper range of the scanners resolution to scan a 1 inch negative at a resolution printable at say 5x7 or 8x10. You can also post further questions in the sub forum for Scanning.
HI Phil. Thanks for the invite to this forum. I don't understand why there is a "double" avatar window for me.. What did I mess up already? Thanks Ron
Hi Ron, I doubt you messed anything up. Could you provide a screen capture of a better description of the "double avatar" so I can understand what/where you are seeing this.
So the larger avatar is the person who started the thread, in this case Phil at the top and you on the second row. The second smaller avatar is yours and appears if you have posted in the thread otherwise you will not see a second avatar. You can also hover over to see how many times you posted in the thread.
