Hello Friends I've recently found the joys of adapting cheap but usually excellent quality legacy lenses on my Canon 350D. Since my model doesn't have Live View, I was wondering does Canon have magnifying eyepiece like Nikon ? I use the DK-21M on my Nikon and found it helps with manual focusing. Cheers! SM
If you can't find an eye piece, another option that might work would be hooking it up to a tablet and downloading an app that does live view.
Yup! There are a lot! On amazon you can also find good products! https://www.amazon.com/DSLRKIT-1-08x-1-60x-viewfinder-eyepiece-magnifier/dp/B00APV9X16 https://www.amazon.com/Seagull-1-33x-Magnification-Eyepiece/dp/B005QPBW3S
Thanks! I was wondering the same thing but for an original 5D. I have a few m42 lenses I have been trying to use. It looks like both of those magnifiers support the 5D so I might give it a try.
Same magnifier, from another seller, at a lower price. The seller is good, I have bought a lot of stuffs from them, but free delivery is not very fast.
Have you considered changing the focus screen to a split image type, that's what I used to have on my old 350D and it worked well with manual focus lenses. Canon don't make one but they used to be available from sellers on ebay.
