    Hello Everyone,

I recently got my hands on a "used" Canon 800mm F/5.6. It was used because the guy bought it, then said it was too heavy so he traded it in. Lucky me.

Anyway, my wife and I travel a lot and this is a lens that will be going with us to some select destinations. The case that came with it seems like it's not the most protective thing around. The same style came with my 200-400 1.4x, but I was able to get a reasonably sized Nanuk case for it. Nanuk does not over anything great for this size of lens so I ordered the Pelican 1606. It's huge. I don't really want to travel with it. I also don't really want to travel with a big box that advertises Canon in it either. Does anyone have any experience travelling with this lens? How is the Canon supplied case?

    Cheers,
    Andrew
