Q: If Eye Tracking can’t find an eye, does it default to face tracking or simply keep searching for an eye? If I’m successfully focusing on an eye and the person/animal turns away, do I have to switch to face tracking manually or to a specific AF Method?

I believe it'll try to find an eye, if it can't it'll try to find a face, and if it can't find a face it'll try to find an object.. If it's already locked on a face, and an eye becomes visible, I don't know if it'll switch, or if you'll have to release and repress the shutter (or af button if you're doing back button focus) again.
