G9 focus problem

    Suddenly, my camera does not want t to focus. Tried to do it in Auto, manual and Aperture, same issue. Is it over, too old?
    Thoughts?

    Exposure modes should not impact focus at all; focusing is done in the lens with its own little motor. It may have given out after all these years, it could have been jarred loose with a bump. You could try a love tap and see if you can get it working, but i think the camera may be done.

    Thanks for your ideas.
    I took it to a shop and asked for help. The guy was great. In 4 minutes he found about 5 things that were wrong. It is good for a few more clicks.

    Good deal, having little shops like that to take a camera to is getting hard to find these days.
