I have an elderly S90. I set it to record RAW and JPG but when I view the photos there are only JPGs, no CR2s. I used a Satechi hub as the card reader. I also tried connecting the camera directly via USB but neither Image Capture nor Digital Photo Pro 4 would see the camera. I'm probably missing something basic (like a newer camera). Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Looks like if you use a method other than Canon's CameraWindow which was supplied with the camera you will run into a number of limitations. http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/7/0300002637/04/PSS90_CUG_EN_04.pdf Page 37

Thank you for your reply, johnsey. The software that came with the camera wouldn't work with MacOS Monterey so I searched for Image Browser, which no longer works with Monterey, either. I phoned Canon Support and it turns out that, while I had turned on Record RAW and JPG from the Menu, it had to be done from the Function Menu. All is well and both files are there using a card reader.
