Hi all - I am curious if anyone has upgraded from the M3 to the M6 and if so do they feel like it was worth the purchase. Thanks!

If I were you, I would go for the M5, not the M6. I have the M3 and bought the M5, plus I gave the M10 to my fiancee. I think you will like the M5 because of the built in viewfinder. The M6 has no built in viewfinder. Go on to the B & H site and do a comparison. Likewise, for a lighter ASPC body (I have a Canon 5D Mark III and sold 6D & 7D bodies because of weigt), I skipped over the T7i and went for the 77d, which is a sleeper camera for serious aficionados.

Thank you for your comments. I had not heard of the 77D - but after reading about it I'm very interested to give it a go. I do have the external view finder for my M3 which I find I use quite a bit so having a built in view finder would be a little less gear to deal with.

Thanks, Paul, please let me know how it turns out. In the end what you want is a great picture. That is what I am trying to focus on now regardless of the equipment.
