Hi, does anyone know how to send images from the R6 directly to a MacBook via the FTP function in the camera. I know you can set up a MacBook as an FTP server, and get the IP address and password from the MacBook, just wondered how and where the images would go. Thanks in advance.

There are instructions online about setting up a desktop/laptop as a FTP server, but you need to set up before connecting.
Is there a reason that you prefer the FTP option?

Hi, As a sports photographer, I tag images in camera, then ingest the card into Photo Mechanic, before editing and sending to the clients.

I was wanting to ftp the images directly to my Mac.

I’ve now found a third party app, that allows me to ftp directly.

    cheers
